October is upon us, and soon autumn will turn to winter and leave a white blanket over the city.
But before snow, some of us has been lucky enough to get a week of to do whatever we want.

Well, having returned to the middle sized town where I grew up, it seems like something is missing! Where are all the subways, all the people, even the concrete? I must say, having moved to the capital, you get used to the big city so easily. So when ones return home, it can get a bit quiet and still. Too still?

On the other hand, it's nice to have a week for relaxing and charging, for the colder months filled with assignments, tasks and work (Lot's of exciting and fun work too!).

This month you will find some great new music, videos and some fantastic photoshoots, all right here on Some Inspiration Maybe.
Also, make sure to check out the October playlist on Spotify, with a bunch of songs great for the month of October. Check it out right here

I've never really found Jennifer Aniston very similar to Barbara Streisand, but I certainly do now! This videopreview for The September issue of Harpers Bazaar, includes behind the scenes footage and picture previews of The Jennifer Aniston does Barbara fashion spread. This is a playful and classic take on the September cover. It brings a retro storyline, and an interesting look on the fashions, and the two ladies.

P.S. Loving Harpers Bazaar's Feature Director Laura Brown's screensaver, does anyone know the artist/photographer?

All screencaps above from the Ellie Goulding music video The Writer

Ellie Goulding is out with a brand new video for her fourth single off Lights, The Writer. The video was filmes at Happisburgh Lighthouse in Norfolk, a beautiful backdrop for the video. When asked about the song, she said in an interview to Sky Songs:
“ "The Writer" is the most personal and emotional song I've written yet. It's about how you'd do anything and change absolutely everything about yourself if necessary, just to be noticed by this one person." ”
Enjoy.

All screencaps from the Marina and The Diamonds music video for "Oh no!" from the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr-SqRWImmI

I Luuurve Marina and The Diamonds! The video for the new single Oh No! of her debutalbum The Family Jewles is finally out and ready to color up our screens. For the key word for this music video must be COLOR! Bubblegum pastels of blues, pinks and yellows and lot's of cartoon drawings makes this video the 2010 version of a very '90s MTV pop music video! The video was directed by Kinga Burza and choreographed by David Leighton.

Bonus:
Another great video that brings the cartoon drawings back to musicvideos is Diana Vickers new promo for The Boy Who Murdered Love, which premiered on the 2nd of June. The video features Diana in a georgeous house out in the country, and the boy who murdered love. Arrows, singing lips, breaking walls, dying flowers and an octopus is just some of the cartoon features on the vid. Check it out here.

P.S. Check out the "original" cartoon inspired music video for Paula Abduls Opposites Attract  from 1989 here.

I finally got to catch up on Milan's men's fashion week. This years Milano fashion week for men is all about the tailoring, and a more laid back glamorous style. Nonchalante. The men's shorts are shorter than ever, Gucci brings the '70s back and white seems to definitely THE key color for spring 2011. Here are some of my absolute favourite shows from the Spring2011 collections.

All images above is screen caps from the season two intro

One of my favourite shows, Charlie's Angels is about three women who are headhunted to Charlie Townelds private detective agency. The picture's above is from the second season, wich was chosen quite covincidently but I've seen season 1-3 and love them all. Under follows the intro for this season and a exclusive interview with Kate Jackson, Jacklyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd, who plays Sabrina Duncan, Kelly Garret and Kris Monroe on the show. Farrah Fawcett played Jill Monroe and became America's Sweetheart after appearing on the show, and you'll sure see her on this blog soon as well. Charlie's Angels was one of the most popular show of it's time, and who havn't heard Charlie's historic line "Goodmorning Angels".

I decided to post this video directed by Sophie Muller. The musicvideo was filmed in Lake Como, Italy, a beautiful scenery for the video. (Info: Wikipedia)
The video is a favourite of mine, and expecially in these summerly times it's back on my iPod and favourited on my youtube.

The musicvideo shows Gwen meeting her ex with his new girlfriend for the first time. In between it's filled with clips fromt their own relationship. I love the fashions and cinematic feeling of the video, with the Italian surroundings it makes such an amazing video.
