Message from the editor

October is upon us, and soon autumn will turn to winter and leave a white blanket over the city.
But before snow, some of us has been lucky enough to get a week of to do whatever we want.

Well, having returned to the middle sized town where I grew up, it seems like something is missing! Where are all the subways, all the people, even the concrete? I must say, having moved to the capital, you get used to the big city so easily. So when ones return home, it can get a bit quiet and still. Too still?

On the other hand, it's nice to have a week for relaxing and charging, for the colder months filled with assignments, tasks and work (Lot's of exciting and fun work too!).

This month you will find some great new music, videos and some fantastic photoshoots, all right here on Some Inspiration Maybe.
Also, make sure to check out the October playlist on Spotify, with a bunch of songs great for the month of October. Check it out right here

All screencaps from the Marina and The Diamonds music video for "Oh no!" from the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr-SqRWImmI

I Luuurve Marina and The Diamonds! The video for the new single Oh No! of her debutalbum The Family Jewles is finally out and ready to color up our screens. For the key word for this music video must be COLOR! Bubblegum pastels of blues, pinks and yellows and lot's of cartoon drawings makes this video the 2010 version of a very '90s MTV pop music video! The video was directed by Kinga Burza and choreographed by David Leighton.

Bonus:
Another great video that brings the cartoon drawings back to musicvideos is Diana Vickers new promo for The Boy Who Murdered Love, which premiered on the 2nd of June. The video features Diana in a georgeous house out in the country, and the boy who murdered love. Arrows, singing lips, breaking walls, dying flowers and an octopus is just some of the cartoon features on the vid. Check it out here.

P.S. Check out the "original" cartoon inspired music video for Paula Abduls Opposites Attract  from 1989 here.
